Prefer draft in American English; prefer draught in British English except in reference to athletes, soldiers, manuscripts, and bank-payment orders, where draft is standard. While American English is, yet again, more consistent, the occasional brewery does mislabel their on-tap products as draught beers instead of draft beers. Avoid this sloppy habit.
